The ECMP Board of Composers


J. Windel Brown - Jim has been a teacher at Northern Essex Community College since 1971 where he has taught in the Mathematics Department.  Many of his works have been performed locally and in Europe.  He has written 5 pieces for ECMP that have been performed since 2001.

Charles R. Loring – Ray composes music for the PBS NOVA documentaries and has set “June on The Merrimack” by John Greenleaf Whittier to music for the ECMP Preserving Local Cultural History Through Music Project

Marc W. Rossi – Marc is a Professor of Music at Berklee College of Music and a composer of classical, Eastern Indian influenced Western music, Latin American and jazz music. Marc has composed for ECMP and is heard on many recordings as a composer and pianist. http://www.marcrossi.com/
 
William Thomas McKinley- Tom is an internationally known composer with recordings on major labels and the CEO of Master Musicians Collective (
MMC) Recording Company. He is also a jazz pianist. ECMP flutist Michael Finegold and pianist David Pihl have performed and recorded works dedicated to them by W. T. McKinley.
